3.Cookies and Similar Technologies
3.1 General information about cookies
I use cookies on my website to make visiting my website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions and to statistically record the use of my website. Cookies are small text files that your browser creates automatically and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit my site. Cookies do not damage your end device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware. Information is stored in the cookie that arises in connection with the specific end device used. This does not mean, however, that I have direct knowledge of your identity. Most of the cookies I use are deleted after the end of the browser session (so-called session cookies). This enables me, for example, to offer you the cross-site shopping cart display, in which you can see how many items are currently in your shopping cart and what your current purchase value is. Other cookies remain on your computer and enable me to recognize your computer the next time you visit (so-called permanent or cross-session cookies). In particular, these cookies serve to make my offer user-friendly, more effective and safer. Thanks to these files, it is possible, for example, to display information on the site that is specially tailored to your interests.
Of course you can set up your browser so that it does not store my cookies on your end device. The help function in the menu bar of most web browsers tells you how to stop your browser from accepting new cookies, how to have your browser notify you when you receive a new cookie or how to cancel all cookies that have already been received and block them for all others.
To do this, please proceed as follows:

5. Confirm your setting with "OK".
In Google Chrome:
1. Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
2. Now select "Settings".

5. To view which websites are storing cookies or data: Select "Manage website data".
However, we would like to point out that without cookies you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. We use cookies in connection with the following functionalities:
  3.2 Google Analytics
I use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google uses certain cookies for Google Analytics. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your IP address) is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. I use the stored information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website use. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with other Google data.
I would like to point out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "anonymize IP()". This shortens IP addresses before they are sent to a server in the United States. A direct personal reference in connection with the stored data is therefore generally excluded. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a server in the USA and shortened there.
I process the data received based on my overriding interest in the optimal marketing of our online offer in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 f) GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in showing you personalized advertising and evaluating the use of our website.
You can object to data collection at any time with effect for the future by using the deactivation add-on for Google Analytics browsers at http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.
Please also note the information on the use of data by Google in the Google partner network at: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners/.
Further information on data protection can be found at: policies.google.com/privacy.
The personal data of the users are automatically deleted or made anonymous after 14 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.
  3.3 Google Analytics Remarketing
My website uses the functions of Google Analytics Remarketing. Provider is Google. I use this function to place interest-based, personalized advertising on third-party websites that also participate in Google's advertising network.
In order to enable this advertising service, Google stores a cookie with a sequence of numbers on your end device via your Internet browser during your visit to our website. This cookie records both your visit and the use of my website. If you visit the website of a third party, which in turn also uses the Google advertising network, advertisements may appear that relate to my website or my offers there. According to its own statements, Google does not combine the data collected as part of Google Remarketing with your personal data that may be stored by Google (e.g. because you have registered for a Google service such as GMail). According to Google, pseudonymization is used for remarketing.
The legal basis is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR. I have a legitimate interest in evaluating the use of our website in order to show you personalized advertising and thereby ensure the economic operation of our website.
To permanently deactivate this function, Google offers a browser plugin for the most common Internet browsers at https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin.
Through so-called cross-device marketing, Google may be able to track your usage behavior across multiple devices, so that you may be shown interest-based, personalized advertising even if you change devices. However, this presupposes that you have an existing Google account and have agreed to the linking of your browser history to your Google account.
Google offers further information on Google Remarketing at https://www.google.com/privacy/ads/. The personal data of the users are automatically deleted or made anonymous after 24 months. Data that has reached the end of its retention period is automatically deleted once a month.
  3.4 Google Ads Conversion Tracking
This website uses Google AdWords, in the context of which we use so-called conversion tracking. AdWords is an online advertising program from Google. If you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie will be placed on your device. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for me as a Google Ads customer, e.g. to record the sales figures and other conversions that are due to you clicking on a Google ad clicked the ad. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification.
The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR (legitimate interest). I have a legitimate interest in showing you personalized advertising and evaluating the use of our website.
You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; we would like to point out to you however that in this case you will if applicable not be able to use all functions of this website in full. In addition, you can deactivate interest-based ads on Google and interest-based Google ads on the web (within the Google display network) in your browser by activating the "Off" button at http://www.google.de/settings/ads or deactivating it at http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. You can find more information about your setting options in this regard and data protection at Google at: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/?fg=1.
3.5 Microsoft Bing Ads
On our website I use Bing Ads, a service of Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA ("Microsoft"). This service enables me to track your activities on our website if you have reached my website via ads from Bing Ads. In this case, a cookie will be placed on your computer. Via the Bing UET tag, which is integrated on our website, I can store pseudonymous information about the use of our website. This includes, among other things, the length of time you spend on our website, which areas of the website you access and which advertisement you used to get to our website.
The information collected is transmitted to Microsoft servers in the USA. You can find more information on data protection at Microsoft and Bing in Microsoft's data protection regulations (https://privacy.microsoft.com/de-de/privacystatement).
You can prevent Bing Adds from running on your computer using the specific tool provided by Microsoft: https://account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings.
The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter f) GDPR (legitimate interest). I have a legitimate interest in showing you personalized advertising and evaluating the use of our website.
This data is stored by Microsoft for 180 days.
3.6 YouTube Videos
I have integrated components from YouTube on this website. YouTube is an Internet video portal that allows video publishers to post video clips free of charge and other users to view, rate and comment on them free of charge. YouTube allows the publication of all types of videos, which is why both complete film and television programs as well as music videos, trailers or videos made by users themselves can be accessed via the Internet portal.
The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA ("YouTube"). YouTube is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheater Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.
Each time one of the individual pages of this website is accessed, which is operated by me and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) has been integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the person concerned is automatically prompted by the respective YouTube component to display it download the relevant YouTube component from YouTube. Further information about YouTube can be found at https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/de/. As part of this technical process, YouTube and Google are informed which specific subpage of our website is visited by the person concerned.
If the person concerned is logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube recognizes which specific subpage of our website the person concerned is visiting by calling up a subpage that contains a YouTube video. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.
YouTube and Google always receive information via the YouTube component that the person concerned has visited my website if the person concerned is logged in to YouTube at the same time as accessing my website. This takes place regardless of whether the data subject clicks on a YouTube video or not. If the data subject does not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, they can prevent the transmission by logging out of their YouTube account before accessing our website.
The data protection regulations published by YouTube, which can be accessed at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/, provide information about the collection, processing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.
3.7 Google Maps
I integrate the maps of the service “Google Maps” from the provider Google. The processed data may include, in particular, IP addresses and location data of the users, which, however, are not collected without their consent (usually as part of the settings on their mobile devices). You can access Google's privacy policy, which gives you more information about Google Maps, here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/.
You can object to data collection at any time with effect for the future by using the deactivation add-on for Google Maps browsers at https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated.
3.8 Objection/opt-out option
In addition to the deactivation methods already described, you can also generally disable the technologies explained by setting the appropriate cookie in your browser. You also have the option of deactivating preference-based advertising using the preference manager available here.

  4. Transmission and Disclosure of Personal Data
I may transfer your personal data to:

other companies or other third parties - e.g. sales partners or suppliers - if this is necessary in connection with the offer and operation of the offers and services or the initiation, implementation or processing of the business relationship,
IT service providers who process data as part of their service provision (e.g. service providers for IT maintenance activities), and/or
Third parties if this is necessary to comply with applicable law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (e.g., in connection with arbitration or legal proceedings, to courts, arbitral tribunals, public authorities or legal counsel).

Some of the recipients are based in countries whose data protection laws provide a level of protection that does not correspond to the level of protection in the country in which you are (residently) based.
In this case, I take measures to otherwise ensure suitable and reasonable safeguards for the protection of the personal data.
Personal data will only be transmitted to i companies and external recipients in such countries if these (i) EU standard contractual clauses concluded with me or (ii) - for recipients based in the USA - are certified under the EU/US Privacy Shield.
  5. Duration of storage of your personal data
I store your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected (any consent you have given me in this respect will continue to be valid even after my business relationship with you has ended) and for to comply with the applicable law.
Specific information in this data protection declaration or legal requirements for the storage and deletion of personal data, in particular those that I have to store for tax reasons, remain unaffected.

6. Your rights (Art. 15-18, 20-21 GDPR)
You can ask me at any time to send you a copy of your personal data.
With regard to the personal data you have provided, which I keep for the purpose of the contract I have concluded with me or based on your consent, you have the right to request a copy of this information from me in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format so that you can continue to use it or pass it on to other organizations.
If you believe that the personal data I hold about you is incorrect or incomplete, you can ask me to correct or complete it.
You may also have the right to object to the processing of your data and you can ask me to restrict my use of your data and to delete it.
If I ask for your consent to use your data for a specific purpose, you are free to withdraw your consent at any time. I will also inform you how to do this.
However, there are some exceptions to these rights. For example, it is not possible for me to delete your data if I am required by law to store it or if I have to keep it because of a contract we have with you. In addition, information about and access to your data may be denied if providing the information would disclose personal information about another person or if it is not possible for me to disclose this information for legal reasons.
If you would like to make use of these rights, please contact me using the contact details given in Section 1.
If you have concerns about my handling of your personal data, you also have the right to complain to the responsible data protection authority (the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia). Further details can be found on their website at https://www.ldi.nrw.de/.
  7. Data Security
My website is SSL encrypted. I and my data center service provider fulfill all legally required technical and organizational measures to protect your data in accordance with the current general state of the art, in particular against loss, falsification or unauthorized access.
In the event that you wish to contact me by e-mail, I would like to point out that the confidentiality of the information transmitted cannot be guaranteed. The content of e-mails can generally be exposed to spying attacks by unauthorized third parties during transmission.

8. Links to other websites
The Website may contain hyperlinks to and from third party websites. If you follow a hyperlink to one of these websites, please note that I cannot assume any responsibility or guarantee for third-party content or data protection conditions, nor do I have any influence over them. Please make sure of the applicable data protection conditions before you transmit personal data to these websites.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy
I reserve the right to update this data protection declaration at any time without notice (this may be necessary due to current developments, such as an amendment to data protection law or a possible revision of our website). I will update the date at the top of the first page accordingly. Each time you use the website, please inform yourself about the current data protection declaration applicable at the time. In some cases, I can also actively inform you about certain data processing activities or significant changes to this data protection declaration if this is required by law.
